Hectic Weeks

work has been hectic but challenging these weeks. no time for dinner and party. endless events going on. endless red tapes to follow that almost drives me crazy. couple of nasty and unreasonable people i have to endure and deal with.

i truly believe that there are 3 types of scenerio: First, if you have a good boss, you bound to have to have nasty and political colleagues. Second, if you have great colleagues, you bound to have a nasty boss. Third, if you have nice boss and colleagues, you bound to meet nasty suppliers. Now am experiencing the 3rd scenerio. due to the company's policy, we can only work with suppliers listed in the pre-q list...****....

having to bear with unreasonable and unprofessional suppliers, i have to endure with their 'not-up-to-the-standard' kind of work. with the tight deadlines, it really gets on my nerve when people still produce the same lousy work despite me repeating numerous time what i actually want.

Be more tolerant and patient, no choice, i guess...

'Disaster' Wonderful Breakfast

Had a wonderful breakfast this morning before heading for my 'prayer' class at Lighthouse. I have stong cravings for dairy products these days - had nydc cheese cake and strawberry milk. Due to low lactose intolerance, i had diarrhoea after that and need to stop between train stations (to LS) :( Cuz of that, i was late and never make it to class.
My wonderful breakfast turned into a disaster morning for me.

Little Pressie for Joven

Can't help buying stuff for Joven whenever i go shopping.

Hi Tea @ Hotel Rendezvous

As usual, we will gather at least once a month for hi tea. This time we went Hotel Rendezvous - Straits Kitchen, which serve international buffet. Variety not much, food so-so, sushi not fresh, etc but service were good. The staffs are friendly and fast in clearing plates. Don't think i will be back for the second time i guess....

We are so hungry, no time to 'entertain' little Joven. Decide to leave him on the couch. :p

Mum & little Joven
Sis and bro-in-law

Little Joven:" please don't drop me can???"

Family photo. Everybody say cheeze....

Oh, why is little joven throwing tantrums again?

mum, me & dad

trying to be funny here....

mum decides to ignore my irritating behavior

me and sisters (from left: 2nd sis, myself, eldest sis)

wow.... what a big glass...

Is the glass same size as my face? (trying to make comparison)

me with glasses. i have stopped wearing contact lenses for a very long long time. Sometimes i will walk around without glasses at all. hence, please don't mistaken that am being unfriendly if i never say 'hi' to you should we bump on the streets. Cuz am equally as blind as a bat.... :p

little joven:"can you all please stop making fun of me? Am serious this time!!!"
btw, if you had watched this korean drama - "wo ai jing shan shun", you will find this head deco familiar

another new look - "Mr Joven Singh"

'Red Riding Hood'

Need some 'entertainment'. Poor little Joven became the victim, we decide to make fun of him while my mum was busy doing her laundry... haha... If you don't know, there is this wicked side of me that loves to make fun of people... just can't help it :-(

"Why do you wrapped me up like a 'red riding hood'?

Dilemma....

I don't really feel good these days, eversince last week, am in a dilemma and need a solution to my problem... feeling very down, vexed and frustrated. IT'S NOT PMS, if its what you are thinking now.

It feels even worst when i don't even feel like talking about it. Even when i feel like pouring out, I simply couldn't find the right person to talk to when i scoll down the contacts on my handphone and MSN list. Finally msned my buddy, he too face the same problem as me, but i could sense he feels more down than myself. His last message to me before we end our conversation was:"We will support each other ok".

At this point of time i would really appreciate a friend to sit down beside me, keep me company, without filling in the silent while am in 'screen-saver' mood.

Mad about Donuts

Wanted to get a birthday cake for my manager but can't find any bakery shop nearby our offices. Hence, we bought 31 donuts for him! Not forgetting to 'sabo' him, we lighted up 31 candles, 1 candle for each donut.

In the end who suffer? All of us! Busy removing away the wax from the donut... haiz...

Pinky

Am into hot pink these days - cushion, umbrella, key chain, etc..... and now my new purchase ....

Be positive and strong

Life is not a bed of roses. It's made up of a complex series of ups and downs, in varying degrees, ratios and proportions. Recently got to know that one of my ex manager's wife pass away with a rare cancer, that only happens to 1 person in every 100,000. It came as a shocking news to me. Life indeed is truly unpredictable and fragile.

Treasure with what you have and don't take life for granted...

I came across an interesting article written by Geoff Tan from SPH a couple of months ago, below quoted from My Paper:

"A farmer's donkey fell into a well and the animal cried while the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally he decided that animal was too old and the well needed to be covered up anyway. He then asked his neighbours to help him shovel dirt into the well. Upon realising what was happening, the donkey wailed horribly. Then to everyone's surprise, it quietened down. A few shovel loads later, the farmer looked into the well and was astonished at what he saw. With every shovel of dirt that hit its back, the donkey would shake it off and take a step up. This continued as more and more dirt was shovelled into the well. Finally, the donkey stepped over the edge of the well and trotted off happily."

Look on the positive side of life when things happen; never gift up, shake off the dirt, and take a step up.
